During the course of my studies in the university I came across a book authored by Eyo Etim the aliens about how Ette migrated across the sea by mere chance. Even though the text is a fiction storyline, from my own perspective I so much believe that there is an atom of reality in it. What am I insinuating, the people over the sea experiencing what we are doing over here are our relations, even though the colonizers tried dividing us but nature is recently taking its natural course by uniting us once again ---the Great Alliance.
One might be tempted to ask, what is so important about this alliance?. What will the two nations gain by allying together?. There are lots of benefits to this historic feat, it can culturally, spiritually, socio-economically, socio-politico just name them. Normally in life it is natural for one to make friends especially those ones that understands you and share the same mind set with you, and so it is in nation building. The alliance gives room for mutual respect and understanding of the sovereignty of the individual nations. Non-interference on their mode of , they definitely will respect their respective borders and territory, the culture of the individual nations will not be tempered with by their allies. So to say, both nations are independent of each other in all aspects of life and existence.
Again, the alliance also serves as a certificate to both leaders as they were acknowledged as the leaders of the two emerging nations. As we all know, that in emerging nations there are many factions trying to present themselves as the authentic bearers of the flag of freedom. For instance, in Biafra land we have the MASSOB, BIM, Zionist movement, and the Indigenous People of Biafra pursuing the same ideology in diverse ways. With this alliance we were made to know that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and he is a recognized personality in the whole of Biafra land without doubts.
The most amazing of it all is the strengthening of trade relations between Biafrans and Ambazonians, by reducing the exhorbitant prices of goods and services the Nigerian government has placed on Biafrans through the customs and immigration policy and her officials in the Biafran-Ambazonian borders and the monopolistic nature of favouring one Fulani man called Dangote Groups to be regulating and determining the general prices of goods and services in the country without any objections and counter productions at the detriments of the Nigerian masses. With Biafra in existence there wouldn't be any need for the militarization of our lands except our external borders against insurgents and terrorists.
