BIAFRA: FG WORKING TO DESTABILIZE IPOB BEFORE RELEASING NNAMDI KANU - REPORT

Biafra Reporters (The Biafra Post) can authoritatively report that there was a priority plan by the Federal Government of Nigeria to ensure the destabilization of IPOB before they release Nnamdi Kanu. This report was gotten last year through our reliable source; according to our sources, the destabilization of IPOB was the next target hence Nnamdi Kanu could not be broken into accepting negotiation or compromising his stance. As at the time this report was made by our sources last year; FG has not swung into action.
The report noted that the FG was disappointed with the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu as it only worsened the issue and convened a meeting in 2016 to addressing the deteriorating situation. Sources categorically informed Biafra Reporters that Rochas Okorocha was also called to the meeting on how the agitation for sovereign state of Biafra can be halted. “The FG contemplated on releasing Nnamdi Kanu but Rochas Okororcha who sees Nnamdi Kanu as an enemy advised the FG that releasing him might worsen the situation that he should rather continue to be incarcerated” our source said.
Recall that in 2015; Nnamdi Kanu- the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra was arrested and charged but was unconditionally released by Justice Ademola and also released by the magistrate Court. Since the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu; there have been moves to lure him into negotiation or coerce him to compromise. It is also on record that Nnamdi Kanu opposed every move that was decisively taken to compromise him. The frustration to compromise Nnamdi Kanu even led to MEND announcing a false negotiation between Nnamdi Kanu and the FG. In all these; there have always an escape route for the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra.
When the FG realized that detaining Nnamdi Kanu was more of a trap or bait hence the Indigenous People of Biafra worldwide were formidably behind him, they thought of how they could reach the people and dictate to them in Kanu’s absence. Millions of Naira was marked for this project but at the end of the day; it cannot be said the project failed or succeeded. Nnamdi Kanu establishing a formidable structure means he cannot be dared without consequences and that is the situation right now. Having admitted that IPOB is the backbone of Nnamdi Kanu; destabilization of IPOB became a priority, the report explained.
Going further; the report disclosed that some coordinators of IPOB were heavily paid off to facilitate the destabilization of IPOB but due to the little influence of the coordinators, they have not been able to carry out the task. “Millions of Naira was given to people in IPOB, some accepted while some refused, some accepted and refused to do the job while some pleaded for patience as they would eventually destabilize the structure. The induced officers were called and advised on what they should do to destabilize IPOB and at a time, they were urged to bring in politics in the leadership of IPOB” the report said.
Recall that last year; Biafra Reporters were invited by a Governor through an aide in what was described as correcting impression. Reports of financial gifts to State coordinators were reported in various States; when Biafra Reporters dug deeper, it came to our knowledge that the money came from politicians without a definite reason. The various States refused to accept the money and threatened to burn the money with the person that delivered it. There have also been moves by the FG to destabilize IPOB with the establishment of shadow groups (REIPOB ETC) which was propagated through Vanguard but that effort was futile due to the resoluteness of the people of Biafra and her up-to-do media wing.
Command and Control ideology of IPOB ensures that everything goes and comes through Nnamdi Kanu and it has posed a great defense against intruders and saboteurs. The report made it plain that why Nnamdi Kanu is not yet released is simply because the FG has not been able to infiltrate IPOB to destabilize it. “They are of the opinion that the mistake of Kanu’s arrest can be corrected with destabilization of his structure and then they would leave him with nothing” the report said.
Though the FG has not been able to infiltrate or destabilize IPOB; but have succeeded in putting problems in few States. The problems put in few States have not been able to affect IPOB because the State leaders do not control the State as there is a higher command by virtue of command and control. While the FG has not achieved what was planned; they are hopeful that consistency will bring result. “Most persons that are close to State coordinators or officers are agents of the FG. They sometimes come as sponsors and then advise officers what to do and at the end of the day, it is counterproductive and puts one problem or another to disorganize the body” it said.
Going further; the report noted that the effort to infiltrate IPOB and destabilize it is still on course and the FG is doing everything possible to ensure that it is done as quickly as possible because there is now mounting pressure for Nnamdi Kanu to be released. The new plan is to reach out to aggrieved members of IPOB and seek to derail the agitation for the restoration of Biafra through them. Our sources further said that they cannot confirm if there is ongoing effort to reach aggrieved members but it is most likely they would be approached”
“They have woefully failed in the effort to destabilize IPOB because of command and control and the quick response of the leadership of IPOB whenever there is a loophole. They are not relenting and they are exploring every avenue to come in. They are looking for willing group they would sponsor to oppose IPOB and fight Biafra restoration” the report said.
Meanwhile; the leadership of IPOB has advised the people of Biafra to always be at alert and fasten their seat belt to fight any virus within or outside IPOB.
