Biafra: For a morsel of yam we were massacred in Afara Ukwu

And Jacob sod pottage, and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: and Esau said to Jacob, feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint, therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die; and what profit shall this birthright do to me?. And Jacob said, swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.  Genesis 25:29-34

Freedom is the birthright of every human living on the surface of the planet earth. The Indigenous People of Biafra- IPOB ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu rose up to demand for the freedom of his people from the slave yard known as Nigeria. He took cognizance of the fact that his people of Biafra's marginalisation in a confined Nigeria is out of proportion, the level of hatred and suppression meted out to his people is uncountable and unchallenged, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Afara Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia rose up as a man of valor, honor and probity to say no, my people have to be freed.

On his wise decision, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu added frantic efforts to see that his people become free in Nigeria. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu had gone to prison for the sake of a free Biafra state, while in prison and shortly after he was released on bail, the Nigerian government offered him heaven in earth to drop his Biafra movement cum agitation in Nigeria and yet he turned them down, from prison he came out and continued shouting freedom for the oppressed Biafrans.

Then there came our supposedly respected Igbo politicians and Igbo leaders within the Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo caucus who lobbied the Federal government of Nigeria on his behalf for his release when the heat became too much and unbearable for them in Biafra land from one form of protest to another losing souls everyday and uncountable to bear, when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was released from Kuje prison - Abuja; those who made him to believe they are with him betrayed him on the process before one could say Jack Robinson.

The Igbo saboteurs in Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo group, South-East governors and their prospective nursing sabo-babies - known as soldiers of justice ( Mr. Clifford Iroanya, Mr. Emma Mezu et. al.,). Lower Niger Congress - Mr. Tony Nnadi, Movement of Biafra in Nigeria and Biafra Independent Movement under Ralph Uwazuruike, instead of joining hands with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to have our people freed and re-write our history, conspired with the enemy - The Nigerian government to have Mazi Nnamdi Kanu killed as the easiest way to quench the agitation for Biafra freedom. Why?.

They sold our birthright for us to continue to live in this space as subhumans for their selfish and political interest. They were promised with juicy positions just like Esau, those positions will not come nor materialize unless they have to give up their birthright. Esau was exhausted and tasty for food. In our case, Igbo politicians who are much aware and sound in mind of a Nigerian government well calculated system of marginalisation against Ndi-Igbo ought to know better that Ndi-Igbo had been starved of juicy positions in the country and made third class citizens of a country that came together by the union of three distinct ethnic and regional groups to form what is known as Nigeria.

September 14th 2017, three years ago, Biafrans were massacred in Afara Ukwu Ibeku Umuahia, in Isiala Ngwa as well; these series of massacres happened as the consequence of the betrayals of our leaders. In their dubious quest to quench the Biafran question thought it foolishly [un]wise that eliminating Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, by inviting the Nigerian government military formation to kill as many armless Biafrans as they could and possibly kill Mazi Nnamdi Kanu too would somehow bury the Biafra question in Nigeria by IPOB.
The eternal mistakes of the sabotuers is getting involve in a conspiracy that took the lives of the youths, for such can never be forgotten from ages to ages.

On 14th September of every year reminds us all of the treachery of a brother against a brother, a father against his children, leaders against the led. It reminds all Biafrans of the betrayal of the self-acclaimed Igbo elites, Igbo elders of thoughts, Igbo "foolish" fathers against their children, who arranged with the enemy for the possible deaths of their children just to remain relevant within a contraption created by a white woman in a far distant land of Britain. When life was fair, men do say that in the end we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends. Today we can not help but say "in the end we will remember not the silence of our enemies but the betrayals of our elders, leaders and fathers.
