The question on the lips of every honest individual, who are sincerely suing for peace in Alaigbo and Biafra land in general, centers on the identity of those behind, the activities of Unknown Gunmen (UGM), hitherto insecurity in the land. Who are their Sponsors and what is their mission ?
Another pertinent question is why the Nigerian government and her National media remain hell-bent on tagging every activities of the Unknown Gun Men on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and/or her Security wing, known as the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
We shall therefore attempt to question and address, whether the IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN) have any hands, remotely and/or otherwise, in Unknown Gunmen activities?
We shall be addressing these questions in this analytical essay, and finally, share an Intelligence Report, on how the Federal Government through her Agencies is using One Mr. Simon Ekpa, a Nigerian Citizen and Finland based Blogger, as a Shield in creating the Unknown Gunmen, and thus escalating insecurity in Alaigbo, all in an attempt to indict the IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Unknown Gunmen following from their name, are armed killers and assassins, who kill and destroy Properties, anonymously hooded, wearing masks or without masks, who have never taken responsibility of their Operations. Hired assassins are UGM, Armed Robbers are UGM,
Kidnappers are UGM, and armed groups that shield their identity, while committing all sorts of heinous Crimes are UGM.
Therefore, these Crimes and the Criminals who perpetrate them, known as UGM pre-existed the coming of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu led Biafra agitation Movement - the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).On this note, let me unequivocally state that the IPOB and ESN cannot be the same as the amorphous Unknown Gunmen.
Nigeria’s decayed Political System with its associated Violence, has made it almost impossible, for a top Politician in Nigeria, not to have his own armed group anonymously, that he or she Sponsors, to enable them have an upper hand, against his political Opponents, to rig elections on his/her behalf. This gang of Operatives is popularly called Political thugs. Now re-baptized UGM.What this means is that 90% of Politicians in Nigeria have their own militant group of assassins now called Unknown Gun Men.
At every election, only the thugs on the winner’s side shall be compensated, with any kind of meaningful engagement. They are mostly employed as tax collectors, in any new Administration. While the rest 90%, of those on the losing Candidates, with no such compensation and/or employment, enter into the Bushes, already armed with Weapons provided to them, by opposition Politicians, using same weaponry for kidnapping for ransom, armed Robbery and other Criminalities, against vulnerable Citizens.
The Fulani government introduced a new dimension, to thuggery as a business franchise, when they sponsored the terrorist group Boko Haram, to oust ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, having succeeded the late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, as the Nigeria’s President. After the demise of President Umaru Musa Yaradua, and with Presidential power shifted to Southern Nigeria, Fulanis of the Arewa North not comfortable with the power-shift traveled to other African Countries dominated by Fulani Nationals, to import Fulani machineries, to fight the government of President Goodluck Jonathan and make Nigeria ungovernable for his Administration. They sponsored and deployed Fulani backed Terrorists - Boko Haram and Herdsmen from across the Sahel, in a bid to make his government ungovernable and oust him from power .This mission they successfully achieved and executed to perfection. It paved the way in 2015 when the grand patron of Boko Haram and sponsor of the Miyetti Allah’s militant wing the Fulani Herdsmen, late President Muhammadu Buhari were enthroned as Commander-In-Chief of Nigeria Armed Forces. This new Administration has paved the way for an upsurge in a relentless wave of violence across Nigeria’s geo-polity perpetrated by Fulani Terrorists
This singular act by the Fulani Cabal at the helm of governance became the genesis of relentless attacks against Nigeria’s Security Agents/Agencies by armed group. The high rate of terrorism, banditary, insurgency and other insecurities, has spread all across Nigeria 6 geo-political Zones. Other politicians have queued behind the same pattern, to fight their Political Opponents. Biafra land known as Eastern Nigeria is no exception.
Some desperate Igbo Politicians have replicated same in Alaigbo, to fight opposition government. And politicians know this very well. The Supreme Court Governor Hope Uzodimma , and ex- Governor of Anambra State Willie Maduabuchi Obiano, have on many occasions confirmed, that based on Intelligence Reports available to them as Chief Security officers of their States, they can confirm that, UGM activities in their respective States are politically motivated, and occasioned by some aggrieved Politicians against their State governments. Both by their widely publicized Statements have exonerated the IPOB and ESN activities from UGM.
Some pundits have queried why IPOB members are seen cheering these political assassins called unknown Gunmen (UGM), each time News broke out, about attacks against Government Security Operatives and Agencies.
In an attempt to respond to the above often posed query, let me state emphatically that our People, have been slaughtered, abducted, raped, extorted extra judicially killed incarcerated by Nigeria security Operatives. We have found ourselves in situation where the Security Operatives, and the Nigerian Establishment, who our People looked unto for Protection, have become the killer squad of our Indigenous People. We have tried our best to get Justice but justice was consistently denied to our People. We are killed with impunity. In this situation, our People are helpless, and will even support Lucifer, to destroy Nigeria and their Security Operatives. This is the sole reason, you see many Biafrans hailing and supporting any attack on Nigeria and its security agents, without minding the implications. Should Boko Haram today decide to destroy Nigeria and its Security Operatives, our People are bound to hail them – This is when an Enemy of your Enemy become your friend…Should America or Russia today decide to destroy Nigeria and its Security Operatives, our People will surely hail them. Hailing them does not mean that Biafrans are the Boko Haram, Americans or Russians. Biafrans will be happy in the essence that, what have been destroying them has also been vanquished. This is a natural law of self preservation.
Now you can see reasons why Biafrans hail Unknown Gun Men when they strike Nigeria Security Operatives. Hailing them does not mean that IPOB are the Unknown Gun Men, Boko Haram, Russia or America. UGM are political thugs and assassins sponsored by political oppositions against the incumbent. There are splinters of underworld groups fighting for different Politicians. In Imo state for example, there are unknown gunmen loyal to former Governor Rochas Okorocha, while other groups are UGM loyal to the incumbent Governor Hope Uzodimma to protect his Administration.
Why did the IPOB establish the Eastern Security Network (ESN)?
As insecurities heightened in the Country, Intelligence Reports have revealed that, the APC government in the Nation’s Seat of Power in FCT Abuja, is deeply collaborating and colluding with terrorists in their activities across the Country.
This Intelligence was confirmed by Retired General TY Danjuma as quoted below:
“Military, Police complicit in killings across Nigeria…” - T.Y. Danjuma (Premium Time of March 24 2018).
“…The Fulani controlled federal government colludes with these foreign terrorists imported to oust Goodluck Ebele Jonathan from office, in an attempt to forcefully grab Indigenous People's land, which was a bargain the Fulani Political Elite had with their imported mercenaries”.
There are chronicles of reported Fulani attacks on farmers and villagers in Biafra land. Women and their daughters are savagely raped while on their farmlands to eke a living. Some women were not as lucky as after being raped by Fulani youths, they will be slaughtered after an orgy of unsolicited sex from infidels. Their killers will sadistically cut their bodies with machetes, and scatter their body parts across their farms. Sometimes their vital organs (Kidney, Liver, Heart, fingers, toes) and private parts are harvested for profit. Other Victims of Fulani terrorism are wantonly kidnapped for ransom. These well armed Fulani terrorists would also invade farms and villages as herders in disguise, massacre the Indigenous Biafra Natives in cold Blood, with no hope of getting Justice, from a government whose responsibility the protection of lives and properties. Rather these terrorists sugar-coated as Bandits and Herdsmen, are shielded and protected by the government. This mantra has escalated over the past decade.
The leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu worried by these rising insecurities in our land wrote, and addressed a letter dated 15th May 2020, addressed to all law makers representing Biafra land/territory known as the South East and South South geo-political Zones or Regions, including their State governors, on the need to form a local Security Network to protect our farmers and villagers, from these Fulani sponsored invaders. This is to stop our reliance on the compromised Nigeria Security forces for protection, while our People are haplessly massacred, in their numbers with impunity, & occasioned with the un-attainability of JUSTICE. Unfortunately this letter was ignored by these Regional Authorities.
For confirmation please read the Vanguard REPORT of January 18, 2021 on quote and titled: “We informed South-East, South-South governors, politicians before establishing Eastern Security Network “ - IPOB (January 18, 2021).
Hence the birth and unveiling of eastern Security Network (E.S.N) on 12th December 2020 by IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
In his exact word he said On quotes: “This is not Biafra Army…this is Eastern Security Network…Not different from Amotekun, and Miyetti Allah…We have decided to take it upon ourselves, to defend the land of Biafra; we are determined and resolute, and we are not going to stop until we eradicate every trace of Fulani terrorism in our midst”.
“…For years, our mothers have not been able to go to the farms; our daughters are being raped and cut into pieces. Everybody is aware of what transpired at Nimbo, in Uzouwani, and what’s happening right now in Delta…what is happening in Ebonyi State and what’s happening in some parts of Abia…We cannot allow it to continue…This present generation of IPOB won’t tolerate it; we will rather die than to allow the ‘Janjaweed’ terrorists take over our lands...
“Our invaders, we were being told, come from the Gambia, we were being told they come from Mali, some from the Niger Republic, some are from Chad according to the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam El-Rufai. Therefore, we are setting up the Eastern Security Network to combat the excesses of these vagabonds and Criminals. We are going to defend our lands from the ravage of the Fulani…Nigeria Security Forces must know we are not after them… but anybody on our way to defend our land must be crushed”- Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (December 12, 2020)
The launch of the Eastern Security Network were celebrated and endorsed by many relevant groups in Nigeria such as Afenifere, world Igbo Congress and Others. The launch of the ESN becomes counter-productive to the Fulani hitherto hidden but unveiled Agenda. The Fulani controlled government Zoological Nigeria, felt visibly threatened by the surprise and successful launching of the ESN without any iota of Intelligence gathering about the recruitment, camping and professional training of the numerous Volunteers present at the ESN Commissioning.
This made Nigeria Government to intensify their media propaganda against the IPOB and ESN. Their sole aim being to de-market and demonize such an outstanding disciplined and professional Security outfit.
Two weeks after the launch of the ESN, the Nigeria Police, Army and other Security Apparatchik of the Nigerian State couldn't see any ESN Official in the Cities or towns and villages to combat.
This is so because, the ESN was not made to be in the Cities, towns and Villages but operate in our bushes and farmlands, to locate, dismantle, drive out and destroy identified Fulani terrorist’s hideouts, across the South East and South South Regions.

Simon Ekpa: His Contract with the Nigerian Government and why he may be named the leader of Unknown Gunmen
Intelligence Reports recently available has Revealed that Simon Ekpa, a Finland based You Tuber and blogger, accepted a Contract of $2.7 Million United States of American Dollars ($2.7Million USD),from the Nigeria government via proxy, suspected to be a top Igbo Politician, to use his platform to preach HATE, against the IPOB leadership known as the DOS (Directorates of State), in collaboration with some infiltrators, planted by Politicians inside the IPOB worldwide family, with the sole aim of the Contract being to instigate Biafrans, who are the real financial Sponsors of the Eastern Security Network (ESN),who are guarding and protecting our land from Fulani invaders; and stop them from funding the Security Network, in an attempt to infiltrate them, using psychological manipulation and monetary inducement. The sole aim is to weaken the strength of the global Movement, dis-organize the Security outfit, and cause them to indulge in Criminalities, in order to obtain evidence of their Crimes, to indict Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is presently in their dungeon, as there is no credible or circumstantial Evidence against our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The efforts at executing this project of internal and external destabilization and implosion of the IPOB, became a futile misadventure, because the structure/foundation upon which the IPOB Stands, was not built on quicksand.
The IPOB under Directorate of States (DOS) led by Mazi Chika Edoziem at the very end of relentless attacks and sabotage remain unscathed. The Head of the IPOB Directorates of State (HODS) stood the test of time, by consistently distancing self and the global IPOB family, from the activities of these contracted infiltrators, while focusing on the reality facing us as a Movement. This media collaboration and unholy alliance persisted until Mr. Simon Ekpa finally shot himself on the leg; when he unveiled his 30 man Criminal gang as M-Branch. This is another brazen impersonation of an IPOB global brand; the M-Branch being the name of Biafra’s none uniformed International Secret Service .To showcase the paucity of his knowledge (an IPOB mainstream outsider)of the IPOB internal mechanism, and modus operandi Simon Ekpa and his IDUU Acolytes established the first secret Service in world history with uniforms and badges, highlighting his palpable poverty of Intelligence.
Available credible Intelligence has revealed that, his paymaster deliberately ill advised him, to unveil his own version of ESN, and M-Branch (30 man Squad), unveiled in an undisclosed School Classroom following Simon Ekpa’s threats directed at Igbo Politicians, Religious leaders and traditional Rulers. He has read out threats on his intention to send his Criminal gangs to attack them from a script written by his benefactors. The script was written for him to read and act upon. Unfortunately to him, as an uneducated Brainless Skull, he was ignorant of the fact, that the Script as written and handed-in to him, was a conscious and deliberate attempt to rope him in, as the leader of the hitherto unknown gunmen.
Angered by Simon Ekpa and his unholy gang’s failure to deliver as contracted, his part of the promised bargain, to Nigeria’s federal Authorities. The government has finally decided to pay him back, by roping him as the leader of unknown gunmen.
The truth be told, while Simon Ekpa may have gathered a handful of a few Criminal Elements; he recruited to enforce the IPOB suspended Sit-At-Home, however he has no such Capacity to lead unknown gunmen. This is because Unknown Gunmen are of many branches and splinter groups operating independently, whose loyalty is to different Politicians across political Parties, with different agenda.
The federal government on the other hand has their own UGM, as they consistently deploy the services of the DSS, Nigerian military and the Police, in their desperate attempt, to hunt for credible Evidence, to tag the IPOB/ESN as a terrorists group and use same against Mazi Nnamdi currently standing trial .
