BIAFRA: THE N88BILLION BLOOD MONEY FOR THE PEOPLE OF BIAFRA IS WORTHLESS AS FREEDOM IS IN SIGHT

Are there people out there that still doubt the authenticity and the resolve of this generation of Biafrans to restore their fatherland? If you are one of them I advise you to wake up because the Nigeria government has woken up and ready to begin a war to force the people of Biafra into sovereignty with the British contraption named Nigeria. The Nigeria government is enforcing the chameleon approach after pressure from the international community for the designation of IPOB as a terrorist organization.

Recall, the Nigeria Army attacked the home of IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (he is still missing after the attack), killing over a score of people, stripping and looting every room. The purported medical outreach by the Nigeria Army was roundly rejected in every parts of Biafra Land and the boycott of Nigeria government organized election is gaining momentum amongst Biafrans. The call for restructuring of the country instead of disintegration by Ohaneze Ndigbo and politicians of Biafra origin has being silenced and cannot even be spoken in a hush tone. This reveals that the call for restructuring by these so-called leaders was merely a distraction to thwart the clamor for the right to Self-determination by the people of Biafra.

The self appointed leaders have decided to jettison restructuring and have chosen to wait till 2023 for the slot of presidency while begging for the rehabilitation and repair of federal roads in the South-East and South-South regions. In a bid to commend the so-called elites and leaders of Biafra origin for acting on the script, President Muhammadu Buhari announced a hoax settlement of Biafra Police Veteran and also agreed to settle out of court with N88billion in a suit against the Nigeria government for the compensation of victims of the Biafra Genocide of 1967-70. Also, the completion of demining and destruction of abandoned explosives within the South-East, South-South and Benue State regions was ordered by the ECOWAS court.

Fifty years after the genocide, the Nigeria government has not stopped the extra judicial violence and killings against the people of Biafra and the greek gifts from Muahmmadu Buhari must be rejected because it is fake and only used for propaganda. If the lives of Biafrans were worthy in Nigeria the Deming and destruction of abandoned explosives in the eastern region would have been prioritized after the announcement of surrender by Late Vice-President Philip Effiong of the Biafra government. It is suspicious that Buhari and his cohorts are suddenly interested in a case filed since the year 2012 against the Nigeria government at the ECOWAS Court in Abuja.

Biafrans are not deceived with the greek gifts from Buhari for he has openly shown his hatred for them. He held on to his words of crushing those “threatening the sovereignty of Nigeria” and the Nigeria Army invaded Biafran civilian populace with armored personnel carriers (APC) and anti-aircraft guns(AA) coupled with live bullets thereby contravening the Geneva Conventions. Innocent and defenseless Biafrans are languishing in various prisons in the country and their offence is because they wish to exercise their right to Self-determination as enshrined in the United Nations Charter. Then where is the love for Biafrans from Buhari?

As Buhari and his cronies continues to announce fake promises to the people of Biafra, the Nigeria armed forces are showing the real deal of fresh military operation and show of force in most parts of Biafra land. After the purported flag down of the “Operation Python Dance 2” and “Operation Crocodile Tears 2”, another military show of force codenamed “Operation Scorpion Grip” has been declared by the Nigeria Navy in the coastal and riverine areas in Biafra land.

It is unfortunate that the blood money of N88billion was offered at a time the people of Biafra have made their choice which is the restoration of the sovereignty of Biafra. They have demanded for a referendum to determine their fate but the Nigeria government has always responded with violence and killings though Biafrans are still undeterred towards their quest. It is ironic that the Nigeria government that labeled the Indigenous People of Biafra as terrorists is planning to pay them compensation. Finally I must commend the Nigeria government for justifying the fact that indeed the South-South, Idoma and Igede region of Benue state are parts of Biafra land and not only the South-East by the inclusion of those regions in the compensation plan. The people of Biafra have chosen the independence of their fatherland Biafra over any form of Greek gift from the Nigeria government.
