BIAFRA: NORTHERN PROTEST FOR KANU’S RE-ARREST AND ITS CONSEQUENCES

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB Leader
"The separation of Nigeria is ripe and not even Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest will stop a thing; not even Nnamdi Kanu’s death will stop Biafra rather his re-arrest and any negative attempt on his life will spell a doom. To save Nigeria or to save our lives; Nigeria must first start listening to the different nations that made up Nigeria. Time has passed when Northern bigots come out on the street to take anything they see and others keep mute, if Nnamdi Kanu is taken, Biafra will protest for Yerima, Ango and Yakassi and their leaders to be taken and if they are not taken, Biafra will forcefully take them and that will finally brings the long awaited end. Nnamdi Kanu is equal to all the Northern leaders put together and that is why his head will cost the heads of all Northern leaders like Israel did after their war" - Ifeanyi Chijioke.

The protest by Northern youths is a major threat to peace in Nigeria, it is divisive and it can stoke up ethnic tension. It is not in the interest of anybody but borne out of hatred. The protest calling for Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest and his death is nothing short of quit notice and genocide song recently released. The protesting youths must be reprimanded and reminded that this is not a better time for a particular region to demand the death of another. The consequences will be overwhelming!

Hausa/Fulani protesting in company of Nigerian police failed to understand that this period is a fragile one and with the knowledge that the people of Biafra are fanatical about their leader and also with the knowledge that Nnamdi Kanu is the outstanding leader/commander of all the people of Eastern region, they are rather intentionally trying to force ethnic violence on the people of Biafra.

What is obvious is that Northern region is standing alone on the call for Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest; while they are planning to evict Eastern people from their region, carefully voiced a genocide song and resisted restructure, they still have the gut to call for re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu. These noise makers have hidden under patriotism to call for Nnamdi Kanu’s re–arrest even when hypocrisy underlined their actions.
Northern protest for Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest is simply a selfish move being made to satisfy or fill their hatred on the people of Eastern region. They have failed to be rational and failed to sacrifice greed even for the sake of the one Nigeria they cry for. It is amazing that a segment of this contraption could wake up to call for re-arrest even when they were expected to call for dialogue.

The call for Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest; what will it solve for Nigeria? Anyone that wants Nigeria to either end in peace or temporary stay in peace must avoid anything capable of stoking up ethnic tension in this fragile time. Do I even need to outline the consequences of the push for Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest; wouldn’t it be fair I keep mute till the deed is done?

Northern youths; how crazy they are, they control and own Nigeria and Nigeria is their father’s estate, nobody has the right to ask for an exit through referendum. Nobody has the right to show discontent and everybody must stay put while oil from Biafra is used to feed 44 inconsequential and consumptive local governments of Kaduna people.

The Court ruled against their wish to have granted Nnamdi Kanu bail; of course, their Islamic Justice Binta Nyako is in charge of the matter, why won’t they protest? Their walking dead fanatic is the president of Nigeria and why won’t they compel the government to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu? The court goofed by granting Nnamdi Kanu bail and they are out to force the court to recall Nnamdi Kanu, what a thought?

Hopeless Northern almajiris; how lowly they have descended, thoughtless men that should first protest for the re-arrest of Yerima and his accomplice who recently issued quit notice to Easterners. Hopeless people that should have taken their time and protest against the recently released genocide song instead of protest for re-arrest that would rather worsen or heat up the polity. The reality is that these uneducated fools are driven by sheer hatred and not love for their so-called country.

It is only when Nnamdi Kanu is re-arrested that Muhammadu Buhari would come back to good health and rule Nigeria again. It is when Nnamdi Kanu is re-arrested that their self-created Boko Haram will stop bombing their region. It is when Nnamdi Kanu is re-arrested that Nigeria will stop bribery and corruption. It is when Nnamdi Kanu is finally re-arrested that peace will return to Nigeria; what a mindset!

These people failed to understand that Nnamdi Kanu is an institution and not a person that can be easily thrown behind bars. They failed to comprehend the fact the agitation will rather double and may snowball if Nnamdi Kanu is re-arrested. They failed to understand that there is millions of Nnamdi Kanu outside the prison once Nnamdi Kanu is re-arrested. They failed to know that only dialogue / referendum can solve Biafra question and not a re-arrest.

They failed to learn from the first arrest and this re-arrest will show that when the gods want to kill a man, they first make him mad. The consequences of Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest will be harsher than the consequences of the first arrest. There is an inflammable situation waiting for a spark and Northern Youths protest for Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest might be the spark.

Now that it is obvious that Northern people are protesting and demanding for Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest; if it is granted to the Northern Youths, won’t it rather stoke up ethnic misunderstanding or variation? The consequences of granting Northern youths their request for Nnamdi Kanu’s head will confirm everything being said or rumored about Hausa/Fulani.

Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest will be giving rare edge to the North and place other ethnic groups who have been in one agitation or another under the category of slavery. If Hausa/Fulani really own Nigeria, then Nnamdi Kanu should be well re-arrested and maybe others will kindly look for their nations.

The separation of Nigeria is ripe and not even Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest will stop a thing; not even Nnamdi Kanu’s death will stop Biafra rather his re-arrest and any negative attempt on his life will spell a doom. Nnamdi Kanu is equal to all the Northern leaders put together and that is why his head will cost the heads of all Northern leaders like Israel did after their war.
