BIAFRA: THE TYRANT PRESIDENT AND THE MAKING OF PRISONERS OF CONSCIENCE; THE FAULT OF A MALFUNCTION JUDICIARY SYSTEM

It is against all conventions and tenets of all principles of human rights that we must write out to the world to call the Nigeria government under President Mohammadu Buhari to order over the ceaseless incarceration of members of the indigenous people of Biafra more especially David Nwawuisi, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Bright Chimezie, and Benjamin Madubugwu, without trial or set them free.

The rule of law in the Nigeria judiciary under President Mohammadu Buhari has been marred and trampled upon for no just cause; there are limits to ones' capacity of enduring injustice meted against them which when they react may cause restiveness in the state because it is believed that many will stand-in for them for having been abused unprecedentedly by the government in power.

There is no concrete facts and figures as to exemplify from the lawsuit filed by Retired Major General Mohammadu Buhari to have these grown-ups and family men imprisoned incommunicado for a very long time without been tried; from the on-goings so far it has become necessary that the Attorney General of the Nigeria Federation to advice the government of Mohammadu Buhari over this arrogance.

We are still dismayed for a very long time now why the case files of these individuals has not be treated or the charges being abrogated by the same court that cannot find them guilty up till this moment; we have it in good fate and sound authority to challenge the Nigeria government and her legal counsel to tell us and the general world why they cannot present their facts and figures [prima Facie] as to why these men are still in the penitentiary.

This expository is tailored towards addressing the Nigeria Judiciary to wake up to her mandatory responsibilities of preserving the society from the damnation of becoming a footstool under  the executive arm of Nigeria government; if the Nigeria Judiciary in her court room declared the indigenous people of Biafra a legal society, what is keeping its members in the prison confinement?

Justice Binta Nyako is expected to over-rule the charges brought in against these men by the Nigeria government in her next court sitting since it has become evidently clear that these men are innocents but guiltily charged by Mohammadu Buhari for their support and role in IPOB.

There is no known law in the universe that condemned or certified that self-determination is a crime, these men are at liberty to decide their fate in Nigeria without being molested, maim or intimidated by the Nigeria government and her security apparatus as that is their God-given right to choose not the government of the day; humanity should talk now on their behalf, people of good conscience should step-in for these men rights to freedom; and their liberty of life has been truncated and violated for so long by the Nigeria government.

On referendum do we anchor our collective hopes so there is no need of keeping these men incommunicado in the penitentiary since they have not taken up arms against the Nigeria state that may have lead to insurrection like the dreadful Boko haram sect; we expect justice to find its ways to their doors and as freedom cries in agony and misery of the innocents. Justice Binta Nyako; set these men free to avoid the calamity that will or may befall Nigeria as a stitch in time saves nine.
