Biafrans in thousands at Abuja Federal High Court protesting for the release of its Leader; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Over the years many indigenes of Umunnachi and Umudioka (neighbouring town) had been active in the struggle for the restoration of fatherland Biafra, but they had been fighting from other angles.
An Igbo adage says "ana esi n'ulo mara mma puta n'ama (beauty starts from home).
Many of their sons and daughters do go all the way from Umunnachi and Umudioka to Onitsha, Awada, Ogidi for family meeting but that cannot make the struggle to grow rather it remains stagnant and most especially the people in the villages were mostly at lost as to what IPOB is all about, what differentiates it from the unpopular Uwazuruikes massob (now BIM)

It became imperative that the good news be spread in these towns thus the formation of IPOB units by the indigenes there that had been joining other towns for years.

Today history was made as the first IPOB unit was inaugurated in Umunnachi adopting the name Nnachi crusaders and in Umudioka adopting the name Umudioka central unit.

The people were in high spirit and promised to spread the gospel in every nook and cranny of the towns, in few weeks IPOB should be expecting many more units as they are out to make sure that every village in the towns have at least one unit situated in it.

The gospel is fast encroaching all parts of the land, do not allow yourself to be left out in this epoch making movement.

There is but one thing the whole of humanity must understand, our freedom from Nigeria is long overdue and we are ready to do anything humanly possible to ensure that Biafra comes.

"Before us there was none like us and after we are long gone, there will be none like us" - Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

We are the indigenous people of Biafra and there is no plan of retreating neither is there a plan of surrendering.

Long live Nnachi Crusaders unit!!!!

Long live Umudioka Central unit!!!

Long live Mazi Nnamdi KANU!!
Long live IPOB worldwide!!
