Freedom is synonymous to self determination, it is a universal law. Even law of nature encompasses freedom as an eligible determinant right of every human. Biafra as a nation has been into existence for over five thousand [5000] years, she was subjected to inhuman degradation after British imperialists amalgamated Southern and Northern protectorates for their own selfish interest as a British colony. Since then, things felled apart. The 1914 imperialist amalgamation started heating hard on Biafra in 1945, when the first extermination kicked off. The lump up dichotomous protectorates by British imperialists cum colonial masters without consultation was specifically made to ignite the extermination of Biafra nation.
Biafra was forced by hook or by crook, to be hold on the ground against the wishes of Indigenous Biafrans. Those that fought against the British colonialism were shot dead instantly. Economic and religious tricks were used to accomplish the British government imperialistic goal. Religion alone played a major role to the psyche of Biafrans to have believed their tradition were fetish and inferior before the white man's religion. European traditions was embraced as a modern way to civilization while Biafran traditions were considered as backward and devilish, in actual sense the European beliefs does more harm than good to Biafrans.
Before Biafrans could recalled their mistakes, British does the worst by handing them over to their favorite perfect house slave - the Fulani, to serve as caretaker to her colony with just ordinary flag Independence without being free as a people. Fulani inability to assimilate contemporary administration in her control, abound to her failure not to perform as expected being the most cherished caretaker of Nigeria. Fulani rather comfortably with primordial nomadic habit of cow herding, choose to discuss cow as way of life than civil administration and what is obtainable in a diverse society.
Biafra's traditional beliefs was not only tampered, her history was obliterated from annals of world journals since traditions and history are synonymously interwoven. The obliteration came in place immediately after the Biafra genocidal war. The British government having overseen the war crime meted against the people of Biafra, through her then Former British Prime Minister Harold Wilson. World media conspiracy and starvation were tools used to fight against Biafra to surrender to Nigeria and since then became caged animals to the Fulani caretakers of the British government colony of Nigeria.
Chief Obafemi Awolowo played major key roles in terms of food and medicine blockage going into Biafra from land, sea and air. Millions of Biafran kids died as a result of Chief Obafemi Awowolo’s starvation policy that all is fair during war situation. Biafran veterans fought a just defensive war of survival while on the side of Nigerian government, she fought offensive war of aggression and extermination. Over five million Biafrans lost their lives including children and pregnant women, during the genocidal war as was perfected by the British government.
The civil war could had been averted had the then military head of state, Gen. Yakubu Jack Gowon, did not flout the "Aburi Accord restructuring", held in Ghana. A round table peacefully resolution was held in Ghana, the agreement was meant to solve the controversies and restore normalcy as the polity of Nigeria was heated up by ethnic cleansings. Late Dim Chukwuma Odumegwu Ojukwu was a Biafran representative and Gen. Yakubu Jack Gowon represented the Nigeria government, the same restructuring some concerned Nigerians see today as the only means of stability and struggling to be implemented was the same thing Gen. Jack Yakubu Gowon’s led government courtesy of the Britain government backed out is the same thing Miss Catriona Liang - the British government Ambassador to Nigeria is galavanting all over the places preaching one united Nigeria through restructuring, same moves that the British government helped spilled the blood of over five million Biafrans is taking effect under this woman.
When Dim Chukwuma Odumegwu Ojukwu’s second in command Philip Effiong, handed over Biafra arms to Nigeria after deceptive a “no conquer no vanquish” was declared. Philip Effiong told Gen. Jack Yakubu Gowon to treat the Biafran people well or risk the upcoming generation fighting the same war. That is exactly what is replicating itself now. After fifty one [51] years of British shameless war against the Biafran people, the war has not ended visibly why Catriona Liang is jumping all over the British government colony like a female goat on heat period. Biafrans are still under war subjugation living in agony as a race yet, world turns deaf ears to come to their rescue or whenever anything pertaining to Biafra is mentioned and we are taking records of how we are being hated for loving our sovereignty to live as a free people.
Biafra war of survival is still on-going, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, remains the only genuine outstanding movement that is left uncompromising after other Biafra agitating groups were either compromised or gave up for their quest for a united one Nigeria because money exchanged hands. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is the only one standing and they are the defendant of truth left as at now; the group is a people's oriented grass root movement. Whatever the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says takes prominence. Enormous sacrifices had been made by this freedom movement group, their blood on several occasions has been spilled in defense of truth despite being peaceful.
Recounting the death of Biafrans started from Jos riot of 1945 till 2021, after been lumped together within the British imperial confinement named Nigeria. The group led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, map out 30th of every May, as "Biafra Hero and Heroines Remembrance Day", to honor the veterans that fought a defensive just war of survival against world conspiracy and extermination of the Biafran stock from the surface of the earth. The remembrance day is a day of sober reflection, it’s an annual event, due to incessant extra judicial killings by the Nigeria security Fulani armed forces whenever the annual event holds that it has warranted the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to re-strategized in order to curtail the killings of its members in the hands of Fulani trigger happy soldiers and policemen.
Hundreds of thousands of Biafrans shall be remembered this day even those that are illegally held incommunicado at different secret cells and detention facilities facing torture and all graded levels of inhuman treatments, their immortal memories cannot be forgotten till time immemorial. This year remembrance day won’t be different from the previous years we gathered for the annual ritual, Biafran heroes and heroines shall be honored with or without the consent of the Nigerian government that derives joy in massacring of our people. Normally, every 30th of May, remains Biafra Sit At Home in the whole of Biafra land, a slight variation occurs this year as a result of how this year calendar is programmed.
This year 30th of May, falls on Sunday, so to allow our Christian Biafran faithfuls to attend Sunday service, the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra finds it expedient for all Christian Biafrans in Biafra land to observe partial Sit At Home order so as to allow them worship and serve God on Sunday after Church service, then Monday being 31th of May, will be total shutdown of Biafra territory, not even an ant is expected to make a move or go about their normal routine activities. Every Biafran in Biafra land is expected to stay indoors in honor of Biafra fallen heroes and heroines. As Biafra fallen heroes and heroines deserved nothing but to be honored for the sacrifices they made so we can be proud of our Biafran heritage.
