December 25, 2017 Dear readers on this very platform of "Hard Truth" by Biafra Reporters, we will be dissecting the economy and economic strangulation of the Biafrans caused by the Federal Government of Nigeria during and after the civil war ended. There had been calculated efforts put in place by the Nigerian Government to strangle the people of Biafra sources of generating income thereby turning them into destitutes in their land. During the heat of the genocidal war, Nigerian Government sensing that the people of Biafra have the Nigeria currency with them in sufficient amount that will enable them Biafrans purchase whatever commodities they need during the war ,then they changed the Nigeria pound to Naira which was only made available to the Northern and Western regions of Nigeria, this concerted effort frustrated the Biafrans from the rest of other regions of Nigeria; Late Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu perceived danger and printed the Biafra currency known as the Biafra pound so as to enable his people to trade within their African borders. Economic strangulation of a people is simple as the term genocide, recall that committing genocide against a people does not literally mean using warfare armories; the government of the day can effect this using what we term economy policies of a country. The Nigeria economy and economic policies and her policy makers are against the people of Biafra, the Nigeria Government wants to make sure that the Biafrans are silenced forever and remain their slave under subjugation. The current Nigeria Government economic policies has had comatose every business opportunity in Biafra thereby forcing the Indigenous firms, companies to either relocate their businesses or get closed. In a corporate world that existed between Innoson Motors and the bully Guaranty Trust Bank, first where there is misconception of terms and conditions, they party involve needs to write for their auditors or what we call public accountants under a registered name to help them audit their account and make findings and recommendations where it deem it necessary to, then after this findings a paper work will be presented to the parties that invited them to do the auditing on what their financial status is all about. The Federal Government of Nigeria economic policies and her policy makers are against the survival of the Indigenous People of Biafra and her Indigenous firms and businesses, this has had caused comatose to Biafra businesses, this policies had forced the Biafrans to either relocate their businesses to the Northern or Western part of Nigeria or stay out of business; what has the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission got to do with embarrassing the Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Motors. If the plans of the Nigerian government since after the genocidal war ended is not to displace the Igbo man economically and render them dependent on regions that have nothing to offer then what is it that the Government afraid of? Have we all forgotten what happened to Dr Ezekiel Izuogu dream; for those of us who do forget easily Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu was a young and vibrant electrical engineer by certification and a lecturer with the Federal Polytechnic Nekede who in 1997 developed the first ever African Indigenous car named the "Izuogu Z-600". What happened to the dream of that young man whose only crime was to come from the Igbo speaking part of Africa. Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu was frustrated out of visualizing his dream of having a vehicle production plant by Sanai Abacha regime who in essence promised the young man and his company two hundred and thirty five Million Naira [#235,000,000 Million] to support the young man invention, he waited for the fulfillment of that promise to no avail. The Nigerian Government allowed that dream to collapsed not until Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu was invited by South African Government to help him visualize the young dream of having a vehicle production plant, later Sanai Abacha paid the said two hundred and thirty five million naira [235, 000,000] to his heavily armed men to invade the Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu workshop and stole mainly the Indigenous materials mainly his plant blueprint for the project in 2006. Do we claim ignorant of the reason behind the 20 pounds consolation payment by the Obafemi Awolowo led Nigerian finance sector Immediately after the war? What happened and is still happening to the Ibeto group? What about the Nkalagu Textile Mills, Aba Textile Mills, The Umuahia Golden Guinea Company, Avutu Poultry Farms; Stanpol Ceramics, Abia State Energy Plant, Ezinnachi Clay Factory. All these and many more were frustrated out of business by successive Nigerian Government.
There is no doubt of the fact that Nigeria is hell bent on destroying the Biafran people economically and otherwise, the effort to destroy "Innoson Motors" is not out of date or sight rather it is the continuation of the Federal Government of Nigeria plans to keep on destroying the Biafran man project of economic emancipation. Thanks to the Indigenous People of Biafra and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for uniting Biafrans as seen in the closing of accounts and boycotting of any business transactions that will have to do with Guaranty Trust Bank by Igbo Biafrans. Nigerian policies of nepotism and monopoly economic strangulation against the Indigenous People of Biafran by the economic policies of Nigerian Government have clearly and admittedly been intended to force a change in behavior from time immemorial, ever since after the never end war of 1967-1970 building of our businesses with Chief Obafemi Awolowo 20 Pounds isn't easy when we’re living under Military and Dictatorial Government of Nigeria; although you need a permit to do anything. If permitted to import raw materials and equipment the Government must have dry the Biafran involved with their economic policies; another thing is imports are also frustrated by the Government and after all of this, the Nigerian Government can shut down the Biafrans ability to export any time it chooses, their policy is a major impediment to the growth of our economy here in Biafra land, despite the fact that Biafra land is approximately 70%-80% viable to be the economic hub of Nigeria, you notice that the Nigerian Government has designated the Biafra land to be land locked with her stupefy economic policies as you all can see in both South East and South South regions is in comatose caused by the Government. This hitch intended policies allows the Nigerian Government to frustrate any Biafran who wants to bring development and eradicate Poverty by building Factories and Industries in both regions of Biafra; currently it is extremely difficult and rare for a Biafran to obtain a permit to build any structure and these are just a few of the restrictions faced by Biafrans trying to build their economy under occupation. After a very surprisingly strong momentum Biafrans have use to build their economy not minding the harsh policy imposed on them by the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Nigerian Government and her authorities keep-on, keeping-on clamping down on the Indigenous People of Biafra efforts to own Indigenous Industries all in an effort to stave off a potentially damaging hit to the Biafra economy. Of recent the case of Innoson Motors with GT-Bank involving the fraudulent Economic and Financial Crimes Commission set up by the then Government of Ex-Nigerian President Olusegun Matthew Obasanjo to favor the South-West and her Northern Collaborators and to help further to continue strangling Biafra economy as they successfully did in the case of Cletus M. Ibeto [The Ibeto Grou p]. Our Hard Truth crews will not fail to remind the like of Chief Innocent Chukwuma, the so called leaders of thoughts and all our so called political elites the lessons to learn from this Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and her Co-host Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) conspiratorial saga to bring Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd down; we observed with keen interest that none of them in the corridors of power were bold enough to take decisive action in defending Chief Innocent Chukwuma the Managing Director, Innoson Groups/Motors Limited and also put an end to the continuous Intimidation and harassment on Biafrans not only economically but also socially, politically and otherwise.
They only did what the know how to do best which is issuing a press statement on the pages of newspaper but it was only the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] led by Nnamdi Kanu that stood up shoulder to shoulder and challenge the status quo on why they systematically want to cripple and frustrate all our business tycoon out of labour market while the likes of Aliko Dangote and Mike Adenuga are granted a 10-year tax incentive, licence to import and export, loan and other National honors, the Indigenous People of Biafra invented the hash tag on #FreeInnosson; Biafrans must have given Guaranty Trust Bank [GTB] a devastating blow for daring touch our own flesh and blood by boycotting all "GT-Bank" related activities, today they are crying of trillions of Naira being withdrawn and millions of accounts shot down all by Biafrans. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] have shamelessly release Innoson Chukwuma [C.E.O, Innoson Group] haven seen the vast amount of Campaigns mounted by the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] on all fronts exposing their [GTB and EFCC] lies and Incompetence and this must ring a bell in the minds and conscience of all the so called leaders across Nigeria, the Governors and Political elites supporting the killing of their own people by Nigerian Government as this must have, have their hearts quaking, just like the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will rightfully say that a day will come when Hausa–Fulani Nigeria led Government will come after you all, one after the other and when that time comes, we the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) will seat back and watch you eat fruits of your labor as it is only IPOB will save you and now what is happening. The time is ripe for all the South-East and South-South Governors, Political elites and Biafra Business tycoons to awake up to the reality on ground that only the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) can save them from the hand of this murderous Nigerian Government.
