After failing in their previous operations of Crocodile Tears and Python Dance all in the bid to scuttle the clamor for the restoration of Biafra, the murderous Nigeria Army has announced it will begin the second edition of Operation Python Dance also referred as “EGWU EKE” in the states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo from Friday 15 September to Saturday 14 October 2017. The deployment of troops and war machinery into the selected is already in full swing for the proposed four-week massacre of the people of Biafra.
The
wayward political, religious and traditional leaders in Biafra land have shut
their eyes and mouth as Muhammadu Buhari declares another round of violence and
bloodshed against their people for the reason that they seek to exercise the
right to self-determination as enshrined in the United Nations Charter. The
South East was declared the most peaceful region in Nigeria by the UN and does
not require the invasion of the Nigeria military except they have been sent on
an ulterior mission which is the continuous massacre of the people of Biafra.
The
Nigeria Army claims it declared the operation because of kidnapping, armed
banditry, cultism and violent agitation but common sense ought to prevail
because it is the duty of the Nigeria mobile police also know as Special
Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) to curtail such crimes. It is obvious the dictatorial
trait of Muhammadu Buhari is deeply buried inside him that he still believes we
are in a military dispensation. The “Operation Lafiya Dole” in the North-East
of the country and the transfer of the defence headquarter to Maiduguri is yet
to have any visible impact in curtailing the activities of the BokoHaram
terrorist group but the Nigeria government has jettisoned the fight against
terrorism and shifted attention into fighting against unarmed Biafrans seeking
the right to self-determination.
The
Nigeria Army has also proposed the establishment of Brigade Headquarters in all
of the states selected for Operation Python Dance which in fact is for the purpose
of having more detention and killing centers for Biafrans and nothing more.
BokoHaram which is declared the deadliest terrorist group in the globe and
still causing unprecedented havoc in the north region of Nigeria had only one
Brigade Headquarter established in Maiduguri for the purpose of fighting them
and this is an exposure of the priority of the APC/Buhari administration to
continue the extra judicial violence and killing against the people of Biafra.
The
show of force in the south eastern region by the Nigeria military is to instill
fear and cause rejection amongst Biafrans in the quest for the restoration of
the sovereign state of Biafra. One would have thought that the Nigeria military
would have come to terms with reality after every previous effort by them
failed woefully. The people of Biafra have seen several invasions of their
lands by the Hausa/Fulani Muslim stock soldiers and are no longer surprised by
these latest antics. Has the Nigeria Army forgotten so quickly that Biafrans
have chosen death rather than give up on the restoration of their fatherland?
Global
human rights watchdog, Amnesty International, has continually reported on the
forceful abduction and disappearance of innocent Biafrans and also the extra
judicial violence and killing by the Nigeria security forces. It is worthy of
note that there is a court case in the US over the killing of innocent Biafrans
in the US against the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Burutai, Governors
Obiano and Ikpeazu and notable security personnel. The international community
and media are hereby urged to be conscious of the plans by the Nigeria
government to kill more Biafrans.
The
unnecessary deployment of soldiers into Biafra land only leads to more check
points and road blocks which in turn increases the extortions and harassments
of law abiding Biafrans and could result to crises in the already tensed
populace. The Nigeria government should act civil and send back the military
back to the barracks where they belong. The right to self-determination is an
inalienable right and Biafra is an ideology which the might of the Nigeria Army
will not be capable of destroying. The sick President of Nigeria, Muhammadu
Buhari and the cabal in government is provoking a war and must be resisted by
everyone with conscience.
