So the extra judicial violence and
killings against their people is not any concern of theirs? Logically, who is
to be blamed for the massacre of unarmed Biafrans by the Nigeria security
forces if not the federal government from whom they receive directives? Why are
the South-East governors too afraid to speak in defense of their own people?
They have remained silent as villages and towns in their domain are continually
invaded by Hausa/Fulani Muslim stock soldiers. They have also shut their eyes
to the numerous roadblocks and checkpoints in their states by the Nigeria
military and police which have become a beehive of extortion and harassment
against their own people. Their docility over the attack by Fulani herdsmen
across the region is shameful as they prefer to cry and call for prayers and
fasting instead of enacting laws to curtail the heinous activities of the blood
suckers.
The stance of the Indigenous People of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to boycott every Nigeria organized elections in Biafra land has moved them into having a closed door meeting with the IPOB leader. Not forgetting that their personal interest is more important to them than that of those who voted them into power. Even the reports of Amnesty International did not move their consciousness in seeking redress for their people violently imprisoned and murdered by the Nigeria security forces. Instead they are always willing to be stooges used in covering up every heinous crime perpetrated against their people.
I have always watched with keen
interest to see any of the northern politicians who is seeking election in
their respective state visiting either a religious or traditional leader in the
South-east for support but I am yet to see none. Now I want you to follow up on
the Igbo politicians seeking elective position as they will flock to the north region
to pay homage to Emirs and other elites. What is baffling is the urge for them
to satisfy the feeling of the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy to the detriment of their
own people. These hypocritic Igbo politicians are ready to sit on the floor
like little children just to gain favor and endorsement from the Islamic
caliphate.
Most of the Igbo politicians have
feigned ignorance over the extra judicial violence and killings against their
people but you will recall that the Hausa/Fulani politicians were quick to speak
against the former Army chief Ihejirika for sending soldiers after the
BokoHaram terrorists. General Ihejirika was accused of killing their kinsmen
because he intensified the onslaught against members of the terrorist group.
The call for the removal of Ihejirika became too vocal and former president
Jonathan was pressured to retire him.
The politicians in the South East
cannot defend the rights of their people neither can they bring forth
development. These sycophantic Igbo politicians have looked on while their
region is marginalized and underdeveloped. The Igbos make up the bulk of
importers and exporters in Nigeria but there is no working seaport in the
region rather the Port Harcourt and Calabar seaports were sold out to former
Vice President Abubakar Atiku and they are now being solely utilized for Aliko
Dangote’s businesses. A functional international airport is only on the pages
of newspapers and does not exist in the South East region. Muhammadu Buhari
prefers to link railway lines direct to his hometown Daura that contributes
nothing to the country’s coffer and deliberately ignoring the already existing
ones in the South East to rot away. Infrastructures in the South East are
largely executed by private individuals in the South East not minding the
federal government efforts to always scuttle it.
The Igbo politicians have continually
shown that they are not in control of governance in their region if elected but
are always in consultation with the northern oligarchy. It is terrible they
prefer the peanuts been shared to them as allocation and will never want to
stir the anger of their masters in the caliphate. The call for
self-determination by the people of Biafra is seen as an affront to the
politicians whom are aware that their evil will get exposed. The Igbo
politicians must understand that their unbridled romance between them and the
northern Islamic caliphate will no longer hold water against the people of
Biafra. Biafrans have made a choice which is the restoration of the sovereign
state of Biafra and it is either the politicians’ stands with their people or
stand alone.
