THE TYRANT OF NIGERIA DETAINS MRS FANI-KAYODE AND HER EIGHT-MONTH-OLD CHILD IN A BANK, RE-ARRESTS HER HUSBAND FFK INSIDE COURT PREMISES

Every actions undertaken by the tyrannical government of President Muhammadu Buhari does not seem to surprise me any longer because it is basically a repetition of his military administration of 1987 when he forcefully overthrew the civilian government of Shehu Shagari. When an Islamic fundamentalist takes charge of a society with civilized people, he is bound to destroy every form of civilization for his religious belief. Since the onset of the administration of Buhari, he has concentrated his efforts in fighting political oppositions and foisting the Islamisation of Nigeria, while the economy crumbles without any remedy in sight.

Former Minister of Aviation and spokesperson of the PDP presidential campaign organization at the 2015 election, Femi Fani-Kayode, is one of the political opposition that has unabatedly spoken the truth about the tyrannical government without fear, and unsurprisingly has being charged with corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Fani-Kayode made himself available to the EFCC for questioning but was arrested and kept incommunicado. Even when bail was granted to him by a competent court of jurisdiction, the order was disobeyed after he fulfilled his bail conditions. His legal team fought continuously until he was finally released on bail from the custody of the EFCC.

The malicious case of corruption against Femi Fani-Kayode is still in court on trial and all of his bank accounts have been frozen by the EFCC. The dictatorial efforts to muzzle Fani-Kayode from speaking the truth did not seem to be working, as he has continually spoken against the ills of the Buhari’s administration against the citizens especially the Christians.  Frustrated and desperate, the Nigeria government decided to shift their attention to his wife, Precious Chikwendu Fani-Kayode, who is nursing their eight-month-old baby, Aragorn.

Mrs Fani-Kayode, in company of his eight-month-old baby, visited Ekiti State and she decided to make a transaction in the Ado-Ekiti branch of Access Bank. The bank officials refused her from withdrawing her money citing the account has been flagged by the EFFC, she and her eight-month-old baby were prevented from leaving the banking hall thereafter. According to her she was badly treated by the officials while her baby was denied food. This illegal detention of a nursing mother and her eight-month-old baby in the bank by the Police and EFCC, was thwarted by the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, and his supporters who refused to leave the Bank premises until the nursing mother and her baby were released.

The EFCC as usual has gone to the Nigeria media to spew lies on the illegal detention of Mrs Fani-Kayode, claiming the account she tried to withdraw money was flagged because of investigation into the PDP Joint Trust Fund and the account had over N2million.
In a post on her Facebook page, Mrs Fani-Kayode, stated that the bank account flagged by the EFCC, was opened during her University time in 2005 and has been dormant from 2013 till September 2016 when she had to activate it, because her other bank accounts have been frozen by the government without any explanation or invitation. And the account holds nothing but N200,000 and not N2million as claimed by the EFCC.

The tyrannical government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has thrown the rule of law to the dustbin, and has chosen to use the EFCC and SSS as his attack dogs against political oppositions and their family members. Why is the wife and eight-month-old baby of Femi Fani-Kayode being persecuted because of her husband? The government have taken the corruption case against him to court and should argue their case in court, instead of harassing innocent family members. The EFCC will rather use the corrupt Nigeria media to slander the image of accused persons, instead of showing up in court to prove the spurious cases it instituted against them in court.

Meanwhile, Femi Fani-Kayode also known as FFK, has been proved right, as he had earlier released a press statement on plans to abduct and detain him by the EFCC on his next court appearance. He was whisked away by EFCC operatives immediately he stepped out of the court room on October 21, 2016.

The government plans to detain him again for as long as possible even though he has been granted bail by the Federal High Court in Lagos. Without proving the earlier corruption charges against him in the Federal High Court in Lagos, the EFCC filed fresh charges against him in the Federal High Court in Abuja. The case have been assigned to Justice John Tsoho, who was specially brought from Lagos to Abuja to foist the interest of the cabal in the Nigeria government.
