Mazi Nnamdi Kanu - IPOB Leader
NIGERIA: A CURSE TO DEMOCRACY

Justice has become an auction in Nigeria, nearly every case in court by the state have been paralyzed by the overwhelming  money from the Nigeria government. The Nigeria democratic system could serve as a virus for other countries, the European Union, the United Nation and other international institutions. Nigeria's democractic system is best described as an abnormal growth of cells that threatens the reality of peace, democracy and freedom.

One may be wondering if the Muhammadu Buhari led government is practicing true democratic system or a melancholy to democracy , but watching the recent  development in Nigeria where judges are being illegally arrested in the middle of the night contrary to the legal process, it is obviously the later.

I can categorically tell you that in Nigeria, the Judiciary has lost its value, and the pillars of democracy in Nigeria have been destroyed. But yet, Muhammadu Buhari is being welcomed and dignified by some members of the international institutions, even when they are well aware of the heinous crime against humanity carried out by him.

I am questioning the integrity of the international bodies in carrying out the task to keep world peace. I call on Transparency International (the global coalition against corruption), to beam its light on the United Nations (UN) on her failure to defend her own law of self-determination in the case of Biafra and the illegal detention of the leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Most Biafrans suspect that series of scandal ranging from bribery and corruption is happening inside the UN. We believe that the Nigerian government are doing everything possible to deny the people of Biafra from getting justice. The UN must see the issue of Biafra as an important milestone and stand for her justice, because keeping silence in the face of the current tyranny and dictatorship in Nigeria, shows clearly that they have allowed the virus in Nigeria to infiltrate the institution.

The United Nations, as a global institution is mandated to be in the forefront for world peace, but looking at the case of Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu, it is obvious that the UN is been deceived by lobbyists paid millions of dollars by the Muhammadu Buhari government. The UN must as a priority, jettison those paid lobbyists and begin to listen to the people of Biafra, for the sake of world peace and protection of their human rights that have been grossly abused by the Nigeria government.

It is no news that for over one year, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is still been illegally detained and the federal government of Nigeria is yet to provide evidence of prosecuting him. Courts of competent jurisdiction have ruled for his bail and also for his unconditional release, but none of these court rulings have been obeyed by the Federal government.

Judges are been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari and his cabal and foisted on the case. Justice John Tsoho who was specially brought from the Lagos Division to Abuja Division for the trial, resigned from the case after his corrupt practices was exposed by IPOB. The Nigeria government has also absconded from the ECOWAS court, as they refused to show up in court on the trial date

I want to appeal to those truthful and honest persons in the International community to stand up for justice and save democracy from been trampled upon by President Muhammadu Buhari.
