There is a popular saying which goes as thus “A fool at forty years of age is a fool forever”, there is no doubt that Nigeria as a country has lived up to the expectation of that fool. Nigeria was created through a forced union of three indigenous nations with entirely different  culture and ideology with no iota of resemblance between these nations. The forced amalgamation of these smaller nations to create Nigeria was orchestrated by Fredrick Lugard in 1914 and named by his girlfriend Flora Shaw. Fredrick Lugard notably stated that the amalgamation of the north and south is like mixing oil and water together, meaning there will never be unity. The sole intention of these forced union to create Nigeria is for the easy exploitation of the natural resources found in one of the indigenous nation by the name BIAFRA.

Fifty-six years ago on the first day of the month of October, Nigeria was declared an independent country by the British government after a secret pact with the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy. The detail of the pact included to handover political power to the Hausa/Fulani to enable the British to continue with the easy exploitation of the crude oil in Biafra Land even after independence. This agreement was done because the British colonial government saw the people of Biafra as  Republican in nature and the Hausa/Fulani feudal law practice was already manipulated by the British government, as the Emirs, Sultan, and other Hausa/Fulani traditional and religious heads were in the pockets of Britain. The Yorubas were easily submissive and were never seen as a threat to submit to the Hausa/Fulani Oligarchy backed by the British government.

Six years after the hoax independence of Nigeria, a Federal government backed ethnic cleansing of Biafrans began in the northern part of Nigeria and spread  into Biafra Land, which led to the secession of the people of Biafra to form the sovereign state of Biafra. The people of Biafra were seen as "infidels" and hacked down to death by the Hausa/Fulanis.
The Nigeria government backed by the British government in coalition with USSR, Egypt, and other foreign allies declared war on the infant nation of Biafra which led to the Biafra Genocide of 1967-70. The people of Biafra faced with the barrel of gun on their heads and starved to death, were forced backed into the contraption called Nigeria.

Forty-six after the genocide against the people of Biafra, Nigeria as a country has been ridden with corrupt leadership whom are mostly of Hausa/Fulani origin. Nigeria became dependent on the crude oil found in Biafra Land and introduced the British style "divide and rule" strategy between Biafrans domiciled in the mainland and riverine areas, to enable easier access to the natural resources for its allies especially Britain.

The oil boom logically should have led to the rapid development of Nigeria and its citizens but the exact opposite is happening in Nigeria. There is serious lack of development, as even a little as  a 5km constructed road and the sinking of a water borehole is still been celebrated by the government on national television. Unemployment is a hallmark in Nigeria as most of the youths engages in various hard crimes both home and abroad in order to survive while the political class are the highest paid in the country. Nigeria is the main base for Boko Haram Islamic terrorists and Fulani Herdsmen terrorist both named as the  most deadliest and 3rd most deadliest terrorists groups in the world respectively, which has  resuited to the frequent slaughter of Christians who are mostly Biafrans.

Hunger and poverty is spreading like wildfire as the so called giant of Africa is currently in comatose battling recession. The ancension of a former military dicator into a democractic President in the person of Muhammadu Buhari has plagued Nigeria into deeper chaos and crisis. The national currency - Naira is on a free fall and becoming worthless everyday. Investors have fled Nigeria to neighboring countries to transact their business. The United Nations (UN) has revealed in their recent public release that Nigeria is deeply divided. Amnesty International has indicted the Nigeria governmen for extra-judicial killings of Biafrans. The call for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra is loudly been echoed.

A personal survey carried out by Chima Onyekachi and Ifeanyi Chijioke  of Biafra Reporters revealed that the outry for disintegration of Nigeria is gaining ground daily, as most of the respondent to the  survey stated clearly that there is nothing to celebrate about Nigeria. One of the respondent to the survey wrote  as thus "I have been praying for Nigeria all my life, I am getting old and will not pray for Nigeria again for the sake of my children."

It is very obvious that the so-called independence celebration will only hold in the government quarters and not in the homes of the citizens of Nigeria. The so-called Nigerians are not even  patriotic enough to risk their life for their country as revealed from the survey.
Nigeria is aging into disintegration as the contraption celebrates its  a 56years independence anniversary of corruption, nepotism, favouritism, tyranny, poverty, under-development, high crime rate, massive unemployment, human right abuse, massacre, islamic terrorists attacks, and continuous bloodshed.
