No one can deny the fact that the Yoruba race once produced intellectuals in the history of Nigeria immediately after the war they rose to that position; Igbo’s on the other way round were forced to trading, the Igbos can be said to have control over commerce not by willful per say rather, but by forced condition after the civil war. Fulani as a race knew they are lagging behind in terms of education and innovation for that reason, for them to be relevant they grabbed politics as their birth right, they installed their brethrens to control security in order to determine who lives and who dies.
He who controls political power controls everything, once it comes to political maneuvering in Nigeria, Fulani is at the top of the game over every other ethnic nationality in Nigeria. Fulani nomadic lifestyle has reduced most gullible Nigerians below dark ages, only few hardly Nigerians think critically because of that, Fulani group can openly boast that a race with highest intellectuals are their slaves while they Fulani as nomads are their masters. As far as Fulani is concerned, they see themselves as husbands while Yoruba is their wife. In such case, as husband (Fulani) they can easily lure Yoruba to bed for their satisfaction. You know what it means?. Irrespective of making up intellectuals guru, politically, Yoruba as a race is at the mercy of Fulani controlled political dynasty.
How Fulani oligarchy determines who rules Nigeria, is what most people find astonishing; their inducement to a preferable nominated candidate even when it goes against the interest of the masses, it can’t either be thwarted through Electoral College or questioned. A governorship candidate with fourth position on score list in Imo State, was rigged to power with the aid of a Fulani biased supreme court Judge. Justice Tanko Mohammed rigged in the Supreme Court governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma into power, not minding how the Imolites felt once Fulani backup is behind him. If not for the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, the purpose of illicitly installing Hope Uzodimma as the governor of Imo State would have been achievable. Similar Fulani political trick, using Ahmed Bola Tinubu, from the South-West geo-political zone of the country, as a preferable presidential candidate to trap Oduduwa activists to hands down on their quest for Oduduwa freedom can easily be stopped in daytime to avoid searching for a dark goat at night.
Whenever Fulani political dynasty wants to play a heinous political tricks, they choose willing tools within an ethnic group to work against his people; the untraceable murder of Chief James Idowu Ige (Bola Ige) in a cold blood on the 23rd of Dec, 2001, in his home in Ibadan, ought to have teach the Oduduwa people a lesson. Will Oduduwa allow themselves to be fooled again?. It’s right time South-West region of Nigeria to rise up by proving Fulani wrong this critical time in the Nigeria forceful amalgamation, days are gone when the Yoruba people will be wooed to bed as wife to Fulani for a porridge of yam. Already the people of South-East of Nigeria is written off from the list, it’s a no go area for any sham Igbo Presidency.
Fulani having seen the deepening ethnic nationalities agitating for freedom, Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s nomination as Fulani preferable presidential candidate stands in between the coexistence of Yoruba and Fulani in Nigeria till 2023. Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s bait may not necessarily base on merit but to quench the burning zeal by Oduduwa agitators to capitulate on their inalienable quest for freedom, once the Fulani trick of maneuvering is achieved, South-West may not have the opportunity again in their lifetime to liberate themselves from the shackles of the nomadic Fulani, far from how some might see or view it, some saw it as power rotation. The revolving power rotation is excluded to East - Biafrans, everyone knows the risk Igbo portrays for becoming a President in Nigeria which will not happen until the world ends.
North Central geo-political zone can be considered more than South-East. Middle Belt’s uprising for Kwararafa independent separate nation, might somehow be a reason to channel the Presidential zoning to North Central. In such a considerable power rotation to North Central, a Fulani staunch from Plateau State, may likely be chosen as next option to fill the gap should South West remains unshakable for freedom. While studying extensively the ground plans to put the already splinted Nigeria together, the ball is on the court of South-West geo-political zone to do away with any juicy greek offer. Power desperados in South-West must go back to history on what transpired during the second republic and June 12th, 1993 saga.
Fulani perfectly used two Yoruba bothers against each other. Mashood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Bashir Tofa of the National Republic Convention (NRC), two candidates from the same South-West, were used against each other by then military ruler, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB). South-West geo-political zone must not repeat the mistakes of June 12th 1993, where election nullification was reservedly planned to favor Fulani ascended power in guise of election irregularities. The best respect and honor Odududa race can give MKO Abiola’s sacrifices is to remain focus on their aspirations of Oodua June 12 referendum, not minding Nigeria’s rascality to stop them. Yoruba historian and chairman of the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self Determination (NINAS), Prof. Banji Akintoye, heated the nail on the head, that Oduduwa breaking away from Nigeria is the only meaningful solution far better than restructuring.
The call by Prof. Banji Akintoye will foster great purpose of Oodua nation regardless of adversity ahead. The death of Afenifere’s spokesman, Odumakin, shouldn’t be a discouragement instead, let it be seen as a morale booster to fight on. More challenges are on the way, letter bomb from Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, to assassinate Chief Sunday Igboho, was one of their sinister plans. It was how the then Fulani stooge Military Head of State, Ibraham Badamasi Babangida (IBB), killed his own brother, a Yoruba finest and objective journalist, Dele Giwa, on 19th day of Oct 1986, by a mail letter bomb. Yoruba race is known as civilized people, they can achieve the purposes by being themselves other than depending on uncivilized illiterate Fulani for political survival.
