Sit-At-Home Protest: Ohaneze Ndigbo Failed Attempt To Quench The Protest Has further Proved Their Irrelevancy To The People

The struggle for a free Biafra nation took a new dimension when on Friday the 14th of September 2018, the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) led by the missing leader Mr. Nnamdi Kanu and the self-styled Ignorant group Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Nnia Nwodo was perceived to be in a cold war of relevancy in the old eastern region

It could be vividly recalled that on 14th of September 2017, some IPOB members were killed in Nnamdi Kanu's residence during operation python dance 2 and dozens of same IPOB members already decayed bodies discovered in some bushes of Abia state.

Following this ugly scenario, IPOB set out 14th September every year to remember those who died by the Nigerian trigger-happy soldiers and also to remember those eastern leaders complicit in the unlawful invasion and murder in Eze Kanu's palace in Afaraukwu Ibeku, among whom were the leaders of Ohaneze and also southeastern governors.

Against this backdrop, the Ohaneze Ndigbo has always (though with increased momentum) practically swore to make sure such exercise does not hold anywhere in the south-east or south southern part of the defunct Biafra region. It has been evidently revealed that against the lips service Ohaneze paid as opposing the operation python dance 3, that her leadership was hatching an underground plan with the military to make use of the same exercise to quench IPOB.

IPOB, on the other hand, continued fearlessly to evangelize to people as to why it is important to observe the sit at home protest for the sake of those that lost their lives and also to prove to the world once again, that Biafrans in one voice have rejected the continuous slavery in Nigeria.

While the Ohaneze Ndigbo in connivance with the old eastern governors were busy trying to cover their tracks of illegitimacy, IPOB was busy appealing to the conscience of the citizens.

The "ghost mode" of Biafran urban and rural cities on 14th of September 2018 in compliance to the sit at home order went a long way to prove the fact that Biafrans are with one voice tired and ready to exit to coerced union known as Nigeria since 1914.

The successful sit at home exercise did not only prove the resolve of the old eastern region to leave the slave enclave but went a long way to expose the undemocratic and illegitimate existence of Ohaneze Ndigbo and so-called elected governors.

If 90% Biafrans as reported by same Nigerian media complied to the sit at home order by "proscribed IPOB " against the kick of such exercise by "elected governors", who then is sanctioned and accepted by the people?

IPOB has proven to the world through a simple sit at home order that Ohaneze Ndigbo is a charade of their real claim

They have proven that the majority of Biafra populace is determined to be a free throughs peaceful referendum

They have proven that Ohaneze Ndigbo and eastern governors have since lost the legitimacy that makes a popular government. It is time for Biafra referendum to take effect.
