Biafra: What Is The World Still Waiting For?

Onyegbula Solomon - TBP April 23, 2018 Since the end of the genocidal war cum ethnic cleansing against the people of balkanized old Eastern Nigeria known as Biafra which took place in the year 1967-1970, spearheaded by the British government in conspiracy with the United States of America, USSR and the Arab league including some African countries. The war became effective through the instrumentality of the Nigeria government in connivance with the British government, Nigeria the British government slave were charged to annihilate anything called Biafra as far the British government can have a firm grip on Biafra oil; this time in question, the word Biafra has never been this rampant both on the lips of enemies and friends of Biafra. One may asked why this push to restore Biafra again by the people of Biafra? Why is the word Biafra on the lips of both adult and young, male and female, friends and enemies? Who is the arrow head of this movement? And so many other questions forthcoming. In trying to answer the above questions, we may start thus; the Indigenous People of Biafra are pushing to restore Biafra again because that is the only hope left for them on this planet earth. The Indigenous People of Biafra are pushing to restore Biafra back because of the blood of the innocent children, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers massacred in the genocidal war engineered by Britain and Nigerian government have never stopped crying for vengeance in their ears. The Indigenous People of Biafra are fighting to restore Biafra because those that died in the course of the restoration of Biafra must not die in vain. The Indigenous People of Biafra are pushing to restore Biafra because they have been brutalized, humiliated, neglected, hated, and their rights both individually and collectively had been trampled upon with impunity by the Nigerian government that reannexed them after the Nigerian government falsely declared no victor no vanquished so as to have the Biafrans dropped their arms and embrace peace with the rest of the entity called Nigeria by the British government. For record purposes, It is prevalent and okay to state that up till this date the younger generation of old Eastern Nigerian youths that were not born or took part in the genocidal war caused by the British government as a result of Biafra oil are still facing unnecessary harassment, abused and being killed. The Indigenous People of Biafra are pushing to restore back their mandate which is Biafra because they feel they are not worshipping Okike their creator well in Nigeria and wants to go back and worship Chukwu Okike Abiama their Creator in their native tongue and in their own Land. The Indigenous People of Biafra are pushing to restore Biafra back because Chukwu Okike Abiama decreed that they should come to him this time, that through IPOB he will make a name for himself; again by showing the enemies of Biafra restoration that he is the Creator of the whole universe. Why is the word Biafra on the lips of every one? To the enemies of Biafra, Biafra means death, judgement and the total condemnation of the kingdom of darkness called Nigeria and her evil supporters, whereas to the Biafrans, Biafra means life, hope, justice and freedom to men of goodwill including her supporters. The arrowhead of this people is the man that defied the evil called Nigeria, the emancipator of the black race, the terror and Nigerian government nightmares, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu ( Ochi agha ndi Biafra). Nnamdi Kanu is the prophecy of more than hundred years. But the big question here remains; what is the world waiting for? In this essay, the writer sense a form of world governmental gang up against the people of Biafra freedom; another observation to note herein as an emphasis by the writer is maybe the world governmental bodies are patiently waiting for another genocide in Biafra before the will grant the people their freedom as free men and women not bondmen and women in this 21st century.

The Indigenous People of Biafra have rallied and protested even to the doorsteps of the United Nations, the United States of America white house and embassies, the European Union as her allies, the Common Wealth Nations, on roads and streets of, if not in a mistaken term the whole world and nothing seems to have been done to douse the peoples anger, tears, sorrows, pains and grant them their needed freedom. The Indigenous people of Biafra have written to International bodies with facts and figures; they have presented evidence beyond human doubts on the evil being meted out on them by the Nigerian tyrant Mohammadu Buhari yet everyone seems to be snoring. Again the writer asks, What else is the world waiting for?.
Will the world be happy to be flying into Biafra with jets and aircrafts risking their lives just to get relief materials for those in the refugee camps if another genocide starts up tomorrow in Nigeria against the oppressed Biafran people?. Is the world waiting for the second genocide to commence in Biafra so that they can be rich again by selling war armaments to the British-Nigeria to annihilate the Biafrans in place of the Biafra oil?. Will the world be able to accommodate the influx of millions of refugees that will be created if war burst out tomorrow when they have not finished battling with the ones in Syria and the Middle East?. To be forewarned is to be forearmed; the United Nations and other International world bodies should understand that when injustice becomes a law, then resistance becomes a duty. Let it be known that the people of Biafra patience is highly threatened, even in the midst of brutalization, humiliations, arrests, detentions and killings the people remain calm not to trade the path of war or insurrection rather wants a referendum to be conducted for them. For how long can the people of Biafra wait again?. What the people of Biafra need is justice because you can't discuss peace without justice being dispensed accordingly.
