Biafra: Enugu State Local Government Areas Election Boycott; Success, effect on Anambra November 18th and Lesson to Learn

The Biafra Post | November 09, 2017

November 18 2017, Ofe Nsala Day - Sit-at-Home
The entire Biafrans are in joyful mood with the Enugu State chapter of the "Indigenous People Of Biafra 'IPOB' under the able leadership of Onye-Ndu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for proudly and genuinely filling-in the gap and defending what they truly believe in - which is the ultimate restoration of Biafra. Despite threats by our enemies, they were able to remain resolute and heeded to the call made by our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to boycott that local government election and other upcoming elections in BiafraLand including the Anambra state governorship poll billed to take place on November 18 2017.

Report by "Family Writers Press (FWP) field journalists had it that the election recorded 98 per cent boycott. To us in IPOB, that is the right step in the right direction. Since self-determination is not a crime but viewed in opposite direction in Nigeria, civil-disobedience becomes a mighty weapon of the oppressed.

So as Biafrans in Enugu has added to our achievement recorded on 30th of May 2017 Sit-at-Home by this boycott of the election, we believe that the International Community, friends of Biafra, lovers of freedom and men and women of goodwill and of good conscience will see and know that the people of Biafra has in one voice rejected the Nigeria occupational government in our land, and that all we need is a date for referendum and the ultimate Biafra restoration.

It is important to remind our people both in Biafra land and abroad, especially our people in Anambra state, that Enugu people has perfectly played the ball and successfully passed it to your court. Now is your turn to indeed prove to the world that come November 18th we shall get Biafra. Remember we did it on May 30th and it was a great performance. Therefore our people in Anambra state should embark on all manner of evangelism; house-to-house and door-to-door campaign to sensitise our people on the significant it is to boycott the November 18th governorship election in the state.

They should know that if we truly want Biafra, we should emulate the first and recent move taken by the people of Enugu by heeding to the call made by our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to boycott every election in Biafra Land of which coming November 18th election is part and parcel of the command; and since it is on record that Enugu recorded 98 per cent boycott of that LGA election; It is expected that the people of Anambra will do us proud by achieving a 100% total boycott of the upcoming November 18th election in the state.

Finally, drawing from the numerous performances and achievements of the Indigenous People of Biafra worldwide and that of Enugu election boycott; we are calling on Anambarians to demonstrate that power truly belongs to the people by following and emulating the footprint exhibited by Enugu people and boycott the upcoming November 18th 2017 governorship election by sitting at home and enjoy their OFE-NSALA-DAY.
