BIAFRA: WHEN BIAFRA WILL GO TO ANOTHER WAR WITH NIGERIA

IPOB Supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, addressing the people of Imo State
{By the time Biafra finishes her civil disobedience; which includes election boycott and census boycott and a referendum date is not given, it would open up a channel of war. That is when Biafra will go to a second civil war with Nigeria and it would be terrible; absolutely terrible. They will go to war with Nigeria because everything they have suffered and the death they have faced for their referendum will not be in vain}

The end product of this current Biafra agitation is obviously crisis cum war on the basis that Biafra is now or never- A wise man will start to make up for what is to come.

The cruel hands of fate never gave my father the chance to talk to me like a son but the little I have learnt from a great man is- he goes for what he wants at all cost. I put Nnamdi Kanu in the category of great men because he has shown rare bravery.
He has chosen peace; endured all forms of torture and attack- he has been threatened that he sleeps with an eye open because he has no gun for self defense.

The people of Biafra continue to die like Christmas fowls; nobody talks and no government asks questions. Britain say it is alright- kill them because we respect the territorial integrity of Nigeria. Other Nigeria-friendly countries say- we don’t involve ourselves with other sovereign country’s internal matters.

Fulani herdsmen kill them like they are inconsequential; their rights to life has been thrown to the dogs- they are worthless and infidels that don’t deserve the breathe God made.

They are killed for their religion and marginalized without measure- they were conquered in 1967 and became slaves since then- they deserve nothing and worth not a dime.

Their political future is dead; they were divided and made ineffective to deciding their political future in Nigeria. In Nigerian Red Chamber; they have minority vote and cannot influence anything, not even a bill that will benefit their people.

Their political leaders became wonderful brides because nothing can be achieved being men and standing on their own feet. Biafran Bridget is killed and a Nigerian attorney general discharges her murderers because they are the ruling class. They are killed for not being Muslims and not even their senators or House of Representatives members can defend them because they are minorities.

They divided them into Southsouth and Southeast after the war to continue to rule over them; gluttons even subscribed to that and Gowon justified the division in the name of keeping Nigeria one. This one Nigeria has done a lot to the people of Biafra because they are the working monkeys, Arewa and Oduduwa are the eating baboons.

They have realized that they are human beings; thanks to Nnamdi Kanu the liberator of their time; they are scampering for suitable life in Biafra. They are now dangerous; made dangerous by experience and self realization.

Why is Nigeria holding them so tight? Because they are Nigeria’s source of life and responsible for her breathe. They are determined to go and worship their God, live their lives and have freedom of aspiration which is limited in Nigeria.
They have protested and got killed; they have shown commitment and bravery, fearless before their enemies and Nigerian military. They have taken every bullet with passion and knowing is the price they have to pay; their lives worth so much but they gave it for the sake of their freedom.
They got arrested and never broke the prison; they were denied freedom and they endured and continued to be denied. They are harassed on daily basis and left with emotional bruises; mental torture and forced to live in fear- they are even forced to disappear.

They have asked for referendum and ready to boycott Nigerian elections and everything about Nigeria; that is the second phase of their agitation. Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest, protests, processions and subsequent deaths were the first phase.

Nigerian government has made it clear that they won’t listen to their demand for referendum; which presumes their deaths, protests, processions amidst tears and scorching sun a waste. They have also neglected the position of Nigeria and continued to press home their demand. It is impossible to neglect them because there would be price for that.

They believe in peace and have been suffering for the sake of that peace; but when peace seems not be working; they would change the approach and engage Nigeria to press home their demand or even declare Biafra. Nigeria will respond and that will kick start the long awaited second civil war.

Biafra will go to war with Nigeria very soon unless their call for referendum is heeded because denying them referendum is denying them their fundamental human right. There is no option to the call for referendum except taking us to armed conflict that referendum will yet settle. Referendum will come in advent of war; so why not avert that horror experience and give humanity a moment of peace.

By the time Biafra finishes her civil disobedience; which includes election boycott and census boycott and a referendum date is not given, it would open up a channel of war. That is when Biafra will go to a second civil war with Nigeria and it would be terrible; absolutely terrible. They will go to war with Nigeria because everything they have suffered and the death they have faced for their referendum will not be in vain.
