Great Biafrans, come 30th of May 2017 is a memorable day that will ever remain sacrosanct in our lives of every indigenous person of Biafra; this day is a day set aside to honour and pay homage to our fallen heroes and heroines who fought and paid the ultimate price for this great cause for freedom to be gained but was sent to their early graves by the murderous Nigerian armed forces under the Nigeria military and civilian governments.

Biafra Reporters write to keep the general public in full knowledge of the pogrom that took effect in the year 1966-1967 which later snowballed into a full blown war from 1967-1970; within this period in-review Biafrans were marked to be annihilated and exterminated from the surface of the earth; this led to what discernible minds and renowned world press at that time called a genocidal war against the Biafrans and the rest of the world looked on and kept quiet.

The genocidal war led to the untimely deaths of 3.5 million Biafrans who were innocents. The Biafran children were starved to death by the combined forces of the British and Nigeria governments. Hunger was used as a Weapon of war against us; this ugly scenario led to the air lifting of some surviving Biafran children to other parts of the world which as at that time was not prone to war. Biafran daughters who were ripped and under captivity at that time were taken into forceful marriage by the Nigeria military forces and our Biafran mothers' were raped and molested for no just cause.

Properties belonging to Biafrans were stolen and some destroyed upon the declaration of the sovereign state of Biafra. Jack Gowon in one of his press statement(s) vowed to wipe us out completely when he referred to us as a dot in the map but Biafrans stood gallantly and defended our land which they came to steal and occupy because our only sin is that Chukwu Okike Abiama blessed our land with both human natural mineral resources.

After the genocidal war on Biafrans, Nigeria government under Jack Gowon banned that nobody will be allowed to propagate the restoration of Biafra while they subject us to a state of servitude as a people been defeated in war with the help of the British government.

Biafrans were subjugated to live in penury and misery in the midst of many resources found in their land, which were handed over to the Nigeria government in the hands of Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba their cohorts until the coming of the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who stood all grounds and fought and still fighting without the spirit of fear despite the ill treatment meted on him and all his followers.

Today out of anger of living a slave life and in penury Biafra has spread like a wide fire about to consume the planet because of the hardships Nigeria government enslaved them into and often referred to them as second class citizens.

This year 30th May of solemn reflection for the remembrance of our fallen heroes and heroines is centered on a sit-at-HOME order so that Biafra agitation for freedom will be achieved and not through barrels of gun but by pure referendum. It demands simply obeying this order of "sit-at-home. And for those of us who are afraid of war, it's your turn to join this moving train of freedom come 30th of may; you and your entire family members must sit at home on 30th of May as this day will be a day for sober reflection for all Biafrans worldwide.

We must remember those killed at Igweocha, Asaba, Onitsha, Nkpor, Calabar, owerri, Aba. We must remember those that died for us to live and we must remember those that were starved to death in 1967-1970 by Jack Gowon and his acolytes. We must remember those that were killed from 1945 Jos riot, Kano riot of 1953 till date. We must remember the 3.5 million souls killed by this cruel world spearheaded by Jack Gowon and Obafemi Awolowo.

This year Sit at home must be admonished; we must honour them by closing down all our shops, schools, banks and stay indoors in respect of our fallen hereos.
