October 1st, 2016

Just realized this dysfunctional, corrosive and apocalyptic Lugardian 1914 political wedlock called Nigeria is 56 years old, today.

Yeah, it was on 1st October 1960 that the Union Jack was lowered and a symbolic certificate of freedom handed over to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa by Queen Elizabeth II.

Damn it! Who cares?

All I know is, the Southern Kaduna man who wasn’t ab initio defeated by any local predator(s) before the arrival of the “toeless and crazy bald-heads” from the United Kingdom is still in bondage. A bondage British White supremacists deliberately created to make their political domination, economic exploitation, and cultural subjugation easy.

Don’t tell me am free when the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government and my state [Kaduna] government are planning to create grazing reserves for cows but aren’t contemplating creating pigs reserve despite their full knowledge that I rear pigs not cows.

Don’t you ever say I am free when some people have the right to mock at my way of life but I dare not even comment on anything that has to do with them.I don’t even have the right to drink my unkomboti everywhere I want.

I don’t want to hear the word independence when political structures were deliberately created to make me a second class citizen with limits of what I can aspire in my home state.

Never tell me “independence” because Southern Kaduna people have been advocating for restructuring and their own state to no avail.

Which independence when the government that the Queen of England imposed on us consciously or  otherwise refused us the right to bear arms so that we can defend ourselves from “unknown gunmen”?

May God continue to punish Lord Lugard and all those who hem this political babel and hell called Nigeria.

May the Grace promised to faithfuls elude Fredrick Lugard and his silly colonial team that made the Nigeria project a reality. May the heat in their graves increase by 100%, right now. And may they not get the ticket to the last feast with God, Christ, and other faithfuls.

If you think you are free, go dance. But for me and my people, we are still not free.

The mistake of 1914 is still enslaving us.
