The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), under the leadership of the Directorate of State (DOS), led by Mazi Chikadibia Edoziem, is set to observe the 2026 edition of its annual Biafra Atonement Prayer.

The spiritual programme is scheduled to begin at sunset on Sunday, September 20, 2026, and conclude at sunset on Monday, September 21, 2026.

The annual observance remains an important spiritual programme within the IPOB family, providing an opportunity for Biafrans across the world to unite in prayer, repentance, reflection and the reaffirmation of their commitment to the restoration of Biafra.

A SPIRITUAL CALL TO THE BIAFRAN PEOPLE

The 2026 atonement prayer calls on Chukwu Okike Abiama, the Almighty Creator of Biafra, for forgiveness of sins, healing of the land and restoration of Biafra’s heritage.

The prayer acknowledges the shortcomings of the people and their ancestors, while seeking divine mercy and guidance for the Biafran nation.

It is also a solemn appeal for the Almighty to expose and remove those who continue to work against the peace, unity and progress of the Biafran people.

PRAYERS FOR DOS, IPOB STRUCTURES AND GENUINE FAMILY MEMBERS

As part of the 2026 prayer, special prayers are offered for the protection of the legitimate IPOB leadership under the DOS, alongside the movement’s legal team, media warriors, medical team and genuine family members worldwide.

The programme reflects IPOB’s continued emphasis on spiritual discipline, loyalty, unity and the protection of the structures established to advance the Biafran cause.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS AND MORAL RENEWAL

The annual atonement prayer also reminds participants of the importance of the Ten Commandments, encouraging obedience to God, truthfulness, respect for parents, faithfulness, honesty and the rejection of violence, theft, adultery and false testimony.

The message is that the restoration of Biafra must be accompanied by moral responsibility and spiritual renewal among its people.

2026 EDITION

The Biafra Atonement Prayer 2026 is therefore not merely a one-day religious activity, but a significant annual spiritual observance through which IPOB members and Biafrans worldwide seek divine intervention, forgiveness, protection and restoration.

All genuine IPOB family members and Biafrans are encouraged to take the prayer period seriously and participate in the spirit of humility, unity and faith.

Chukwu Okike Abiama, return to us and restore Biafra, Your heritage.

Biafra lives. Biafra shall be free.
